[Meeting Note]

Attendance
Members in attendance were Wallace Yang, Carl Hoffman, Carl Sun, Richard Lam, Pat Norberg, Pete Rojas, Tracy Chen and Julie Chiang.
Absent members were Mike Balbuena, Don Giang, Peter Chien, Brian Wilbur, Jenny Kuo, Kevin Kuhn, Joohy Choi, Alex Martinez and Johnny Luo.
Guests included Mauricio, Gigi and Joseph.

Meeting
Pete Rojas gave the Pledge Of Allegiance.  Carl had recognized that the flags weren't positioned properly.  Tracy was the timer.  Wallace Yang was the general evaluator.  Julie Chiang was the Ah Counter/Grammarian.  The theme was Elections and the word of the day was propaganda.  Table Topics participants included Pat Norberg, Wallace Yang, Gigi, Cathy Whitaker, Mauricio, Pete Rojas, another guest, Tracy Chen, Miriam, Carl Sun and Julie Chiang.  Miriam, Gigi and Mauricio didn't qualify to win Table Topics.  Refreshments were provided by Richard.  Wheat Thins, Triscuit Crackers, Lemon Aid and bagels with cream cheese were the refreshments provided.  Richard gave his 2nd speech.  Carl Sun had given a speech about his tuxedo.  Carl Hoffman gave an 8-10 min. speech about leadership.  All speeches had qualified.  Cathy Whitaker had evaluated Richard.  Pete Rojas evaluated Carl Sun.  Julie Chiang had evaluated Carl Hoffman.  Cathy had won Best Table Topics and Evaluator.  Carl had won the best speech.  Club officer election had been held and the following will be our officers:  Johnny Luo as President, Julie Chiang as V. P. of Education, Pete Rojas will be V. P. of Membership, Joohye Choi won V.P. of Public Relations, Tracy Chen as Treasurer, Jenny Kou as Secretary and Carl Sun offered to become Sgt. At Arms.
